The Brazos County Firefighters’ Association is the association of county fire departments in Brazos County, Texas that serve the areas of the City of Bryan, city of College Station, and surrounding Brazos County. Brazos County is located in east-central Texas, approximately 90 Miles northwest of Houston and approximately 150 miles southeast of Dallas. Bryan and College Station are the two Major Cities in Brazos County. College Station is the Home of Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Forest Service, and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, which is world renowned for it’s Firefighting, Rescue, and Incident Management curriculum. The BCFA was founded to allow cooperation and coordination between area fire departments and the community that they support as well as advocate especially for members of the area volunteer fire departments who are not represented by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF).
